Congress Is Full of Buffoons

Wally wrote this mid-morning:

Congressman The United States Congress regularly makes me so angry because they can’t come together to agree on the simplest of good legislation. To get anything passed that benefits us, the public, favors have to be exchanged, irrelevant pork having noting to do with a bill has to be added and on and on.

Alas, we only have ourselves to blame. We elect many Congress men and women based on their hollow promises and their charm and wit on the campaign trail. Instead we should be looking at their accomplishments and character. But we all want to know “what are you going to do for me”! We, the people, need to restore respect to our legislative bodies in Washington. There is an election coming up in November and we need to toss out some of the garbage and replace it with men and women of character.
