I'll admit that I was intrigued by the water for gas technology, and I use that term loosely. With gasoline prices having reached $4.00 a gallon recently, who wouldn't be interested in an easy way to save gas?
Just Google "water for gas" and you'll find nearly 200 million results. Many of these sites have testimonial after testimonial from satisfied customers. Or do they? Could these people just think they are getting better mileage or even worse?
There are a lot of people who market this garbage on-line. Before YOU consider becoming one of them, make sure you know the truth. Don't fall for phony testimonials or un-scientifically tested results. People sometimes will say almost anything to make a buck and so far the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has done little to get these products off the market. Their claims indicate that the small amount of hydrogen and oxygen gasses these devices provide to the engine improve the combustion process resulting in better fuel economy and lower emissions.
To get at the truth behind these HHO water-for-gas devices we need a reliable source that has done some unbiased testing. Well, it turns out that just this month Popular Mechanics Magazine published their own tests on the water powered or so called HHO technology purporting to save gas.
Tests by PM using their own HHO device showed absolutely no improvement is engine efficiency or gasoline savings. Nope, none, nada, zipp, no way, zilch! Tests were performed in a scientific manner with the ability to turn the HHO device on or off during mid-test to check for any changes in performance.
So, now that you know the facts and the truth behind these water powered or water assisted automobiles, don't be one of those marketing this scam. You will find there are many ways to make money on-line without ripping people off. Be an honest business person and you'll enjoy longer term success and gratification in your entrepreneurial ventures.
