Introduction

Before you read on, I want to tell you that I'm not an expert at Internet marketing and I am not by any means a Guru at SEO or other sophisticated online stuff. I do not represent myself as being something that I am not.

I run a small successful business in the finance industry and I have recently become intrigued with making money online. The success of my small business is entirely dependent on my front end. By front end I mean my shop window and by shop window I mean my company website. I have spent thousands of dollars on developing a website that not only ranks well
within Google (I outsourced all my SEO) but once the traffic hits my site, that they convert into phone calls which then converts into sales. All in all I'm proud to say that the front end of my shop window of my business performs well and that is why I'm making more money than any of my local competitors.

So that's how I came up with this idea?

Being in the industry that I am, you need to keep on top of your competitors. You need to do research, check their prices and see what they are doing that might be new. A little bit of corporate espionage if you like.

After evaluating my competitor?s websites for a few months I noticed a common trend - well I always knew that their websites were crappy but it then struck me, it actually hit home. Almost 80% of the competitors in the industry had a really bad online presence. In short all their websites were #$@!#.

So I ran a trial. I wanted to see if I could sell pre-manufactured websites to these guys? (well not directly in my area, but far away on the other side of the country where they couldn?t steal my customers!) Of course this would only work if I could sell it for enough money with the least amount of effort.

I realized that it was going to be a volume and numbers game and that if say 10% of the people I targeted bought or converted then it meant that I would have to mass produce my trial to make it a success. After coming to this realization I wasn't sure if I would be able to make money doing this?

I did some searching on Google and it turns out there are many products that would easily allow me to do what I was setting out to do i.e. quickly build a local website for a local business. The only thing I could not find anywhere on the web was exactly how to market & sell this on a big scale ? a scale large enough to make some serious coin with.

So I came up with this little plan which made me $2,400 in my first 8 days of my experiment.

What I'll tell (and show) you

I'm not going to tell you how to make websites, get visitors, or rank well on well Google?

Why am I doing this? Well the short answer is why not. I know it works and I know I can make more money with it. This is the second part of my trial? I'm not going to give any guarantees or empty promises that you will make millions of dollars in the first week but I do believe that this method is solid and has the potential to give you substantial extra income. I can tell you that I have made good money with this and I am planning on scaling this method up big time.
