BTR Sucks I can get someone set up not at BTRs 24bitrate but at 128k you can broadcast on your own website for 16 bucks a month and same start up cost email me inceptionradionetwork@gmail.com all you need is winamp which is free, free virtual audio cables or a mixer and a stream provider, done.
In his defence, Back in 2009 it was free. In Febuary of this year they made it where you have to pay.
Blogtalkradio sucks! You get censured and bumped off the air, their free acct is a waste of time...unless you pay 39 dollars a month for more technical headaches. Just thought you all might like to know!

blogtalkradiodotcom will work with your own music but be very careful that you do not loop it because it will continue to play while your trying to talk and thats not good. they have some help but very poor on getting back to you when you need them the most. just read the instruction before you ever go on air.
Can I have unlimited listeners without paying for a premium service? And, have guest speakers and take calls? I know you said you can take calls but can you elaborate, is it free without premium service?

For those wondering Yes it is a free website to do your own show. But to have more time on the air you MUST upgrade your account to either Premium host or Premium plus host.. Premium host is 40$ a month and Premium Plus Host is you pay 2,000 dollars a year.. Do the 40$ one.. its well worth it but sort of expensive i do shows for free that's all i need =)
@MrFlightSimVidz you can use skype or your phone and have a headset if you use skype and its free to do 1 hour shows but to do premium host is 40$ a month !!!

You have to pay to be able to use a computer mic...If you sign up for free, you have to use a phone to call into your account, and that would be your mic...you are calling to New York (that is long distance for me). Also, if you use a free account you can only do three shows a month. They changed the time too, so you can only do an hour show or less.
