@uninterconnected I know man. I hate to even say that but sadly this country is just getting worse. Ron Paul doesn't have a chance because of the people who really run the show don't want his ideas or solutions. They love watching us suffer while they sit on their fat rich asses drinking wine.

@jackvincent90 it does matter, how do you think America would react to a iraqi or afghanistan reporter. the only reason why piers is a US reporter is because it started with american idol, then it spread to other shows and now our news. why would an american want a person with a foreign accent telling us how to think. its sets the precedent for more foreigners to tell us how to live. my belief is actually well thought out. gl
@tmac20031 What got us into this mess is more than bankers. Anyone that has studied the issue can point to several factors in the financial crisis. Thomas Sowell wrote a good book about the "Housing Bubble", and blames the Community Re-investment Act, our govt. Also, key is the FED in keeping int. rates too low in 2000. Nasdaq bubble burst which moved into the housing bubble. True, banks our responsible for creating MBS, and CDO's, and abusing leverage, however fraud laws should suffice.
is ron paul going to stop funding all these foreign nations giving israel over 6billion a year,pakistan billions,it's too many to list. his own party won't support him. it's sad. it's easy too talk the talk gop if you serious about real change select ron paul and implement all his ideas. and stop letting these israelis run this country. to my fellow anglo-saxon brothers beware of the ashkenaz khrazarian people they are wicked. they operate in both parties.
@scatnme2055 Sadly you are right. George Bush in 2000, John McCain in 2008. These were choices made by the Republicans that think they are smarter than the Democrats. We are not looking too bright.

The primary fault is with our own congressional representatives and US citizens are responsible for holding them accountable, We get the government we deserve... its sad, but hope isn't lost and RP has lit a fire!

The US is "broke," not "bankrupt," as RP says... we're heading toward bankruptcy due to unfunded future liabilities, but won't be bankrupt until the US defaults on its debt and there are no more buyers of US bond @ which point reserve notes become worthless and hyperinflation ensues. That scenario is unlikely, & the US still has time and room get its budget in order, though it will be a painful adjustment & burden on our kids & future prosperity...
