p.s. i don't read manuals either
Good videos, well done very professional.
@miningstocktalk well said
@hunter69denys Yea, I wouldn't bother with gold plated items, there isn't enough gold in them for it to be worth anybody's time.
Do you buy GP items , or reject them ?
is there just not enough AU to bother with ?
@jjjjvvvvv ---Yep, it sure will!
Would the GT3000 notice if a piece of jewlery is gold plated and not a solid piece?
the gel can do that sometimes. test near claps, edges and on the insides of jewelry if you wish to avoid that. we've used a jeweler's cleaner in the past which helped.
Good to know - thanks. Also, I was practicing on a friends jewellry last night, and the gel left a dark mark on two pieces of her gold. I know it can leave a mark on 24K pure gold coins, but these items were 14 or 18K. I feel bad. Why did this happen, and how do I remove the marks?
Its extremely rare that anybody brings a 20k or 24k piece. The last 24k piece we bought was a coin.
The 24XL may help if you want to be prepared for those higher kt. items. Please visit the store page on our website and check out the link to this item.
I ordered the GT3000, but now I realize that it only tests up to 18K Gold. Do people never bring 20K or 24K gold to a gold party? Do I need to order the more expensive GT 24XL? Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks!
very informative, thanks
