This man has been putting love into the wood toys he's made for 30 years! There should be a way he can send the inventory he can't use or sell away, to get some? money back for it. If he all of the sudden can't use the inventory, why should he be stuck with absorbing that cost? This law was clearly passed to control the people of the USA. Safety my ass.
I am a US Federal LEO. I will tell you that the money grubbing folks? will actually look at you and with a straight face will tell you "big government" is hurting their pockets because we're stopping them from feeding our children lead.

When I figured out that the government is wholly in the pocket of corporations, particularly when they pretend to fight corporations, is when I became a libertarian.
would it be? possible to label the products "for decorative purposes only" like they do for many Mexican pottery which is unsafe for food? I hope Congress rethinks this bit on nonsense legislature.
As bad as it sounds I don't think "Washington" cares about small people like you and me. They make it harder and harder for the little guys to get by. And give out billion? dollar "loans" to big companies.
