2012 Honda CR-V review from Consumer Reports
The high-selling CR-V is a very practical package, with a roomy interior and easy maneuverability. Fuel economy improvements make the CR-V a particularly efficient choice. But noise isolation and emergency handling could be better. To find out more about the CR-V and other new SUVs, visit our website: bit.ly

Did you buy an Ancient Fav4??
honestly alll the video have complaints i havent seen a review where they dont say one thing bad about the car especially the cr-v the hard plastic will last longer then the? stupid soft plastics
I viewed the philippines CR-V, just minor differences? in trim. What makes it better?
honda is good car but this honda crv
really sucks
i bought a toyota instead? and i am so happy with my
toyota
Too many hard plastics and one major sin of omission. Honda should have a 6 speed automatic? in everyone of their new cars. Acura should be using 7 or 8 speeds by now.
honestly this car looks better? in person
hahahaha IKR! xD especially in white orchid pearl in 2.4 EX? guise. PH CR-V has LED turn signals, sleek looking projector headlights, and a sunroof.... HOLLA!! \m/
That ass end is ugly as sin! ?
Subaru? Forester all day.
that new crv looks? ugly the one here in philippines is better
Honda? is AMAZING!!!
I? like the direction of Honda's new designs across the lines. Honda's cars from late 90s and early 2000s look really "Honda" and people like them. That's what defined Honda during the period. In the mid 2000s, there are quite few ugly cars, and now we are seeing newer and really slick designs. This 2012 CRV is a good example or the transition.
I? just bought a 2012 CR-V also in EX-L trim in polished metallic finish and gray interior/leather seats. I agree that the SUV is relatively quite comparing to my 05 Accord and my wife's 07 Accord. The interior also looks very nice and the drive quality is close to my Accord. I really like the design and almost everything about this SUV.
It's an okay package, if you don't know better... the American version is a low grade version of the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version. The JDM CR-V get HID with Active Cornering Light, Push Start with Smart Key Fob, built-in prism at the bottom of the passenger side door mirror for easier parking, Paddle Shifters and a big safety add-on, Additional Turn Signal on the outside mirrors and a lot more. Bring the JDM CR-V and it? will probably catch up with the others...
When you all do? your lane emergency handling maneuver, do you let off the gas? Hard to tell but it did not look like you lifted off the throttle.
I have to agree with you there. It seems like Honda is becoming the Chrysler of import-labeled vehicles.?
That enormous C-pillar really detracts from the overall look. Also, the roofline just looks to high to me. Not really an attractive vehicle, but? I suppose it is practical.
RAV 4s, actually last less than a CR-V according various websites, just because its a? Toyota doesn't mean its best. Honda's are much more sporty and reliable, after look at all the recalls from Toyota.
Yea the Ford Escapes actually been scraped,? their using a europian Ford SUV to replace it, so not too fair.
The reason they didn't go with? the 6 - speed is it transmission itself is heavier decreasing fuel economy, compared to the 5 - speed auto transmission. Also, the engine of the CR-V is from the Honda Accord, so the horsepower and torque is tweaked a bit, but relativity about the same. Lastly, if you have an SUV of this class, why need 200 hp? Thats why there is the Acura luxury and performance division with the Acura RDX with much > 200 hp. Hopefully, I answered some of your questions.
Until it needs a new? tranny...
Nice? honda
just when i thought the? CR-V couldn't get any uglier..
Thanks for the review. CRV is like a friendly dog. Most people like it, as well as myself. Two major issue should've been? solved, but they're not. New engine and transmission. Definitely, a 200 hp is necessary for this size as well as a 6 speed automatic. I think they could do this to boost up the sales by at least 20-30%. Hyundai Tuscon is doing better in this category as well as Ford Escape.
