The Senate resumed consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 1940, the flood insurance bill (post cloture). By unanimous consent, the motion to proceed to the flood insurance bill will be agreed to no later than 5:30 pm At 5:30pm, the Senate took a cloture vote on the compromise agreement to S 3187, the FDA user fee re-authorization bill.
