Mr. Roger Tadajewski’s Opening Statement during the Small Business Workforce Needs Hearing 9.8.11
On Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm, theHouse Small Business Committee held a full committee hearing entitled, “Innovative Approaches to Meeting the Workforce Needs of Small Businesses.” The hearing took place in room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing focused on small businesses’ growing need for highly skilled and trained workers and how private, industry-led portable skills certification programs are helping meet these needs while improving career and educational prospects for students and workers. The hearing was intended to help educate policymakers regarding innovative approaches to meeting the workforce needs of small businesses.
