Nordic countries, led by Sweden, dominate the global rankings in the 11th annual Global Information Technology Report by INSEAD and the World Economic Forum. The GITR evaluates 142 countries on 53 indicators that include key drivers such as the political, regulatory, business, and innovation environment; infrastructure, usage and affordability. Singapore is number two in the rankings, followed by Finland, Denmark and Switzerland. INSEAD Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology Soumitra Dutta, a co-author of the report, highlights the report’s key findings in an interview with INSEAD Knowledge.
